“People would sometimes ask me what size clothes I wore, if I was so skinny because I watched what I ate, etc. It was frustrating to have to be in those situations, and I was constantly left feeling flustered and self conscious due to other people’s rude comments.
Why, am I NOT allowed to eat my favourite yoghurt just because I’m so thin? That I have to live on pork lard everyday instead? Hmm. Then why don’t you scrimp on a slice of tomato for all of your meals…
If you don’t want others to condemn you for gorging on that bar of milk chocolate, then don’t condemn me for indulging in my favourite yoghurt.
PS. I eat what I like.

Last night was time to get high at Dbl o. It was ladies’ night, but I went there with Wan & a few of his buds… funny people… we ordered quite a lot of drinks and it was so packed. Then Wan & I went out to the pub where Wan did something sweet, asking me to slow dance when the band was playing Halo.

NEW YORK – “Pirates of the Caribbean” star Johnny Depp was named People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” (indeed) on Wednesday, reclaiming a title he first won in 2003.
Depp, whom People described as “the king of cool with the killer cheekbones,” succeeded 2008 winner Hugh Jackman. Other stars who have received the honor twice include George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

Met up with K.D yesterday to window shop and play pool– her first time. I had to teach her everything, which was fun, and she was clueless while making the common beginners’ mistakes; jumping pool balls and missing shots, things like that.
Me: *Looking blankly at K.D* what was that?
K.D: That was Diana playing pool *giggles*
How cute of her.
The night before I went to Geraldine Chin Suying’s homely 21st birthday party. The food was good, love the Filipino macaroni desert. All the familiar faces; Annabelle, Wendy, Jaslyn… some old schoolmates, two new guys, one is called Kane. And the other was Khairul or Khai, Gdine’s boyfriend whom she kept a secret from me for 7 months, because she didn’t want to tell me and told everyone else so I don’t know what I am to her for the past 7 months. Let’s not go any further, so hurt.

Played UNO almost the entire time, and I lost during the first two rounds, didn’t do my first forfeit; writing Wan’s full name with my butt. I’m too shy to do it cause I feel really uncomfortable with so many people staring at my hineys’ ! My second forfeit was to dance a bollywood dance round the air-inflated coconut tree, and everyone was laughing at my silly antics. Perhaps it wouldn’t be as funny without Jaslyn’s singing bollywood tunes!The third and subsequent rounds I played better and managed to finish the first… luckily, cause’ the one who lose will have to do forfeits like eating spaghetti without using hands, which got messy and completely hilarious. Rina and I laughed so hard while watching Jaslyn struggling to finish her spaghetti.
And I also found out that Auntie Joy is pregnant, so I gave her my congratulations at the party. No wonder I thought she has that pregnant glow about her. People always say that, now I know what they mean… & Gdine has so many presents, its such an envy…
Now I’ve got to catch extra hours of sleep since I’m going to stay out late tomorrow night!

A little story to share

Last night Wan accompanied me to dinner and an appointment after work. Went to town after that and met up with Lilibet and her 2 ex-schoolmates (from Sydney) Anna and Harry. We had a few drinks and watched the live band at Sanctuary, IndoChine. They played really good, it drew a huge crowd. We toasted to Anna and Harry’s engagement. Tasha the she-male was gyrating her hips at her usual spot outside the bar, LOL.
They’re unlike anyone you meet. Prior to their trip to Singapore, both of them were in India for a year or two doing humanity work. Harry plans to dedicate his life to this cause. Once he runs out of cash, he’ll go back to Sydney to work, then go to India once he has enough. Hats off to him, many people at his age wouldn’t want to do such things. As compared to many rich kids, Harry doesn’t have much and yet he is willing to give everything. People like him are willing to forgo material wants and desires that normal people like many of us aren’t able to give up, and instead they can find happiness in doing humanity work instead of say, shopping.
